Update: request by an initiative committee to hold a referendum declared admissible
Today, the Prime Minister, Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, has decided that the request for the organisation of a referendum on the proposed revision of Chapter VI of the Constitution, submitted by an initiative committee and received on 26 October 2021, is declared admissible as it meets the requirements set by the amended law of 4 February 2005.

The Government Coordinating Office ("Bureau centralisateur gouvernemental", BCG), set up for each legislative, European or municipal general election, is responsible for determining and disseminating the informal results of these elections.

For guaranteed arrival of their ballots, electors residing in Luxembourg who are voting by post are being notified that they have to send their ballot by mail no later than Friday 24 May 2014, before the last collection indicated on the letter box.

Les ressortissants d’un État membre de l’UE non-luxembourgeois, domiciliés au Luxembourg, peuvent s’inscrire sur les listes électorales jusqu’au 28 février 2019.Tandis que les Luxembourgeois sont inscrits d’office sur les listes électorales et sont automatiquement convoqués pour les élections, les ressortissants d’un État membre de l’Union européenne non-luxembourgeois, domiciliés au Luxembourg, peuvent s’inscrire sur les listes électorales avant le 28 février 2019 à 17 heures s’ils choisissent de voter au Luxembourg.
